Biggest Q Weekend of the Year!

This weekend we can expect to find 4 or 5 coupons insert in our Orlando Sentinal: 2 Smart Source, 2 Red Plum and maybe a General Mills insert. Stores want to get you spending right off the bat! There are some Qs that will make some for some great deals...esp at Publix! I may be buying 6 (instead of 4) this weekend. Before leaving the store with your papers, make sure to check that each paper has all of the inserts...my hubby just loves helping me do this each Sunday on our way to church =)

Last Wags trip of the year =)

I've been trying to get to Wags for the past week, but I have not had 1 second to get my Qs together. I had $10 jingle cash that expired on Sunday. So here is what I scored today:

(3) Skittles
sale: $0.49 w/ in-store Q
used: $0.50/1 tearpad (expired today!)
total: + $.03

(2) Paper plates (This is the one and only thing that was on my grocery list =).)
sale: 2/$3
total: $3.00

(4) Sinex nose spray
sale: $6.00 (You will earn $10 RR if you spend $20 in this product...so buying 4 of them would put me at $24 therefore I would earn $10 RR.)
used: $4/1 MQ (12/16 SS)
total: $2.00 per package
_____________________________________

Skittles: free
plates:   3.00
sinex:    8.00
= $11.00

I used $10 in RR and earned $10 more RR!!!

Grand total: $1.29
and I left with $10 more to spend =)

Free Snickers!

At Walgreens this week, they have small sized holiday snickers bars (in the shape of nutcrackers) on sale @ 3/$1. In the Sunday paper, there was a Q for $2/3 (12/5 RP) Mars candy items. This means you can buy 6 snickers for FREE! Since I had 4 papers, I got 24 for FREE! More small things for my student's stockings =)

Cheap Games!

Target and Walmart both have Hasbro card games for $4.99-$5.24. There were Qs in Sunday's paper for $5/1 many of the games. I usually have a hard time using Qs that are more than the price of the item at my Target, so I decided to just spend the extra $0.25 and get them "safely" at Walmart. So these pics are from 2 different places.

Walmart Trip

(4) Hungry Hungry Hippos Travel size games

Target trip 11/30

So I ran into Target to get some of the Vaseline lotion that would only be $0.19. I also printed off some of the (new...usually only $.75/1) $1/1 Suave hair care TQ. I noticed that Target has reduced the price on the Suave shampoos to only $0.84 a piece. That means, I potentially, could make $0.16 per bottle...AND I DID! My cashier allowed overage! I was so excited! And I got my Christmas dress for only $7.00! Here's how it went:

(4) Vaseline lotions
sale: $2.69

Walgreens on Cyber Monday!

So I went in on Sunday to get some herbashine hair color for only $3.99 (used in-ad Q @ $5.99 and MQ for $3/1) and when I paid (in cash) I received a $3/$15 purchase store Q. It says it's for you to use to "stock up register rewards." That really excited me! $3 more to spend...so I got my list together last night. Yes, I know there is a PG rebate going on out there, but I just don't have the Qs I need to spend $50, so I'm not killing myself to get the rebate. Shutterfly's FREE photo card deal!

This deal is great because it requires NO COUPONS, although it does require you to have a blog. So I guess this goes out to all my fellow bloggers:

Shutterfly is giving away 50, yes 50 FREE photo Christmas cards this year to people that blog about this amazing deal! Over the last few years, our number of Christmas cards to send out has increased. I’m pretty sure last year we had to order 40! And I just love getting photo Christmas cards from all of my friends and family. We have a bulletin board in our kitchen that I keep them on all year until I get everyone’s new ones. I shopped through shutterfly.com's Christmas cards last night and there are too many good ones to choose from (and most of them even say MERRY CHRISTMAS...imagine that!) I really love their collage cards that allow you to put more than 1 pic one it: like this one. I also like this one...such a good FL Christmas card: peppermint palms. You can also personalize items such as calendars, Christmas gift tags, or even wall art. The possibilities are endless and inexpensive. I've always received things in the mail MUCH quicker than their site mentioned upon time of my order. And if you are on facebook and are interested in this deal go here.
ENJOY!

my AMAZING hubby!

I know this has nothing to do with saving $$$, but I just wanted to let everyone know my husband is AMAZING! Today started off extremely rough and ended even more rough!!! I ran to my car at exactly 3:15 so ready to get out of there today. I loaded up my things in the back seat then hopped in the front seat. Above my steering wheel was a white envelope. Wondering how in the world it go into my car, I opened it. The picture tells the rest:

So as my hubby was out running errands today, he bought me a gift certificate for a pedi, bought me a card, and sneaked it into my car...I LOVE HIM!!! I sat in the car and just cried! Then I had to clean up quickly because I had to hit Publix....lol!

Peelie Alert!!!

Today at Publix, I found an amazing peelie! It was on the Kashi cereal (Honey Sunshine). The peelie is for $3 off a fresh produce purchase with the purchase of any 3 Kashi items (not just cereals). And it does not expire until 2/28/2011. Keep your eyes peeled! So you could still use 3 Kashi Qs toward this deal and still get $3 off ANY produce purchase.

Do you drink Coke?

I've been savings all of these Coke Rewards from our 12-pack boxes for a while now. I thought I may try to cash them in. So I went here (www.mycokerewards.com) and created an account. I entered in all the codes I had and had enough to "buy" a $5 Chilis giftcard. I also still have a free chips and queso coupon (which you can still print here if you join their email club) .So we will be going to Chilis and getting free chips and queso and getting $5 more off of our bill...cheap date night!!!

Want a free hand sanitizer pen from CVS???

Ran into CVS to check if they had Purex 3-in-1 yes (which they did not) so I figured I would just get my free CVS hand sanitizer pen. I had the girl scan my bag tag (which costs $1 to buy; put it on any green bag and every 4 scans at CVS it will yield $1 in Extra Care Bucks which you can spend on anything) and I earned $1 ECB. So I went into CVS, got something for free, and earned $1!!!

More glade!

I ran into Target to look and see if they had any more discounted school supplies (which they did not), so I quickly took a peak at the glade aisle. I'm still irritated that I have so many glade Qs and can't seem to use them to get more free stuff, but I guess I have done pretty well (and there are going to be MORE glade Qs in tomorrow's paper). Well, a coupon fairy had left behind a $1/1 glade fall TQ. I had 1 in my stock and had a $2/2 peelie that I found at Publix. So I scored both of these items for only $0.87!
